FAQ

Not really. Many metaverse worlds are easily accessible in a web browser. Many have mobile apps as well. To access Tangra, for example, you simply click on a link.

Although playing games and hanging out with friends was the first use case of the metaverse, as it often is with other technologies, we're well past that already.

1,000! Tangra is the only metaverse that can host that many people, though. Most metaverses are restricted to 30 or 50 concurrent users (geek talk for people being simultaneously in the same space).

Yes, we've partnered with Ready Player Me (RPM) and you can use your RPM avatar in Tangra. Or you can always pick one of the predefined 200+ avatars and enter Tangra in a second.

In the metaverse, people feel as if they were in the same room. The training consists of interactive elements that keep you attention. You learn by doing moreso than by listening to a lecture or just reading text. That ensures much higher retention, i.e. you remember much more from what you've done than from what you've read. There is no way to snooze off because you actively participate in the training. And last but not least, the 3D space brings the training to a whole new level - you can learn about human anatomy, for example, while exploring a realistic 3D model of the human organs.

The metaverse is a term that describes a digital world that exists alongside the real world, where people can interact with each other and with virtual objects using virtual or augmented reality tools. The metaverse is not a single platform or application, but rather a collection of different virtual environments (worlds) that are interconnected and interoperable.

The metaverse is not owned by anyone, but rather by everyone who contributes to it. The metaverse is built on open standards and protocols that allow different platforms and applications to communicate and exchange data. The metaverse is also governed by the users and the communities that create and maintain the virtual spaces and assets. However, some platforms and applications may have their own rules and policies that users have to follow.

The metaverse can be used for various purposes, such as entertainment, education, socialization, commerce, and creativity. Users can play games, watch movies, attend concerts, learn new skills, meet new people, shop for goods, create art, and more in the metaverse. The metaverse can also offer new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and expression. In Tangra, people can host events, trainings, presentations, team buildings, discussions, art exhibits, and even dance parties!
