Visual: A staff with the solfège syllables written on the notes. Slide 3: The Solfège Syllables Do – The start of the scale. Re – A step above Do. Mi – A little higher. Fa – The middle of the scale. So – Sounds like "Sol"! La – Getting higher. Ti – Almost back to Do! Do – The high note to finish! Visual: A ladder with each step labeled with a syllable and smiling notes. Slide 4: Why is Solfège Important? Helps you sing in tune. Makes learning music fun and easy. Used by singers and musicians all over the world.
