The Ducklings Come Home
Kids counting-down song at a gentle, moderate tempo: acoustic guitar and xylophone, with a soft female voice. Sweet and a little wistful, sung in English, about little ducklings wandering off one by one until their mother calls them all home.

Lyrics
Five little ducks went out one dayOver the hills and far awayMother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"But only four little ducks came back.Four little ducks went out to playPast the pond and the stacks of hayMother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"But only three little ducks came back.Where did they go?Walking in a lineWhere did they go?Leaving one behind.Three little ducks went for a strollDown to the edge of the fishing holeMother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"But only two little ducks came back. Two little ducks went for a runHiding away from the midday sunMother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"But only one little duck came back.Where did they go?Walking in a lineWhere did they go?Leaving one behind. One little duck went out aloneAcross the fields of mossy stoneMother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"But none of the five little ducks came back.Sad mother duck went out one dayOver the hills and far awayThe sun was low and the wind was coldShe called for her babies to join the fold.Where did they go?Walking in a lineWhere did they go?Leaving one behind.Mother duck said, "Quack, quack, quack, quack"And all of the five little ducks came back. All of the ducks came back. All of them came home.
