Trust Your Heart and Mind
Reggae song with an upbeat skank and a dance-floor edge at 103 BPM: a choppy funk guitar, driving bass, organ and hand percussion, with a male lead and a female trio answering him. Uplifting and danceable, sung in English, about trusting love and your own mind over other people's lies.

Lyrics
They talk in circles, spinning tales so tallWaiting for a moment just to see me fallBut I got a compass deep inside my chestIt points to the truth and ignores all the restI shut out the noise and I clear out the roomMy garden is growing, it’s starting to bloomNo matter the weather or what they might sayI’m walking my path in a beautiful wayI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightAnd everything’s gonna be alrightI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightLove is the lightA little bit of kindness goes a long, long wayDon’t let a bitter tongue ruin your dayThey try to sell doubt like it’s something to keepBut I’m wide awake while the cynics all sleepI know what I feel and I feel what is realNobody can tell me how I ought to dealSweet vibration moving through my soulTaking back the power and the full controlI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightAnd everything’s gonna be alrightI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightLove is the lightHigher ground is where I’m gonna standGot the whole world right here in my handNegative talk is just a passing breezeI’m sailing along on the tropical seasYes, I’m sailing along with a heart full of easeI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightAnd everything’s gonna be alrightI trust my mindI’m leaving the heavy baggage behindLove is the lightLove is the light
