Cradle in the Treetops
Lullaby in a slow 3/4 sway: harp, music box and soft strings, with a hushed female voice. Soothing and peaceful, sung in English, about a cradle gently rocking in the treetops as the wind blows.

Lyrics
The day is done and the sun is lowThe summer leaves are all aglowThe moon climbs up a ladder of pineTo watch the little stars start to shineSmall birds rest in their hidden homeHigh above the garden loamRocking in the treetopSwinging in the skyRocking in the treetopSleepy lullabyA gentle breeze begins to playTo sweep the remaining light awayIt moves the branches to and froAs the clover fields begin to slowSafe and warm in the tallest limbClose your eyes as the world grows dimRocking in the treetopSwinging in the skyRocking in the treetopSleepy lullabyThe silver clouds are drifting byLike white ships in the deep blue skyThe cricket sings a quiet tuneUnderneath the rising moonThe cradle bows as the wind moves throughKeeping a promise meant for youRocking in the treetopSwinging in the skyRocking in the treetopSleepy lullaby
