Rockin’ Christmas Snow Day
Rock and roll Christmas song with a 1950s feel: a honking saxophone, boogie-woogie piano, handclaps and a bright, youthful female vocal. Merry and energetic, with lyrics about sledding and snowball fights on a winter afternoon.

Lyrics
Grab your mittens and your heavy coatGrab the red sled with the painted boatThe sun is hanging like a peppermint dropOver the hill and the icy topWe’re climbing up in the crunchy whiteEverything is looking shiny and brightOne big push and away we goFlying fast across the powdery snowSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillZipping and a-sliding in the afternoonDon’t let the sun go down too soonSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillDuck your head behind the garden wallKeep a steady eye on the flying ballBilly’s got a bucket and a frozen aimWinter time is just a crazy gameRoll ‘em up tight and toss ‘em highSee ‘em go a-sailing through the skyCold wet fingers and a rosy faceRunning all around the snowy placeSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillZipping and a-sliding in the afternoonDon’t let the sun go down too soonSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillHear the bells ring-a-ling on the laneIce cubes frosted on the window paneMama’s in the kitchen with the cocoa sweetWhile we’re dancing on our frosty feetSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrillZipping and a-sliding in the afternoonDon’t let the sun go down too soonSledding down the hillOh, what a winter thrill
