Getting started with Tangra AI

Set up your account in under a minute, understand how credits and plans work, then jump into any of the six creative tools. One login and one balance work everywhere — web and apps.

Create your account

Tangra AI uses a passwordless sign-in. Tangra uses a passwordless email-code sign-in by default (LoginPage rendered with passwordless={true}). Step by step: 1) On the login screen the user sees entry options. The primary one is the "Email User" button (also passkey, and on some platforms Google/Microsoft).

1. Open the login screen
   Go to any product and click “Log in to create”, then choose “Email User”.
2. Enter your email
   Type your email to receive a one-time login code. New emails may be asked to reply once to a welcome email to verify the inbox.
3. Enter the code
   We email you a numeric login code — type it in and submit to sign in. Entering a new email creates your account automatically.
4. Add a passkey (optional)
   Accept the passkey prompt to enable Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a security key for instant future sign-ins.

How credits work

Tangra runs on a single shared credit + subscription wallet used across all products (Images, Video, Music, Photos, Voice) and across the website and native apps. The credit counter in the top bar shows total balance (regular credits + subscription credits); for unlimited tiers it shows a coin icon instead of a number. Each AI generation costs a model-specific number of credits, and pricier models cost more: e.g.

Manage billing & your account

1. Check your credits and subscription
   Click the credit counter (number, or a coin icon for unlimited tiers) in the top bar to open 'Your Credits'. It shows your current plan (Free / Pro / Premium / Ultimate), total credits, when subscription credits renew, and buttons to subscribe, buy more credits, claim free credits (referrals, games, one-time bonuses).
2. Subscribe to a plan
   Open the pricing page or click 'Subscribe' in the credits panel, choose Pro ($10/mo), Premium ($20/mo) or Ultimate ($40/mo), and complete checkout via Stripe (web) or your app store (mobile/desktop). Apply a promo code at checkout if you have one.
3. Buy a credit pack
   In the credits panel choose 'Buy more credits' and pick 100, 500, or 1000 credits. Pay via Stripe on the web or your platform store in the apps. Subscribers and app-store buyers get about 50% off. Credits never expire while your account is active.
4. Manage billing or cancel subscription
   On your account/profile page, click 'Billing' to open the Stripe self-serve billing portal, or 'Cancel Subscription' to request cancellation (you'll get a confirmation email from team@tangra.link). App-store subscriptions are cancelled in that store.
5. Switch accounts or sign out
   In Settings > Security, click 'Switch Accounts' to log in with a different email, or 'Sign Out' to log out (sign-out is hidden for guest accounts since they have no recoverable email).
