Tangra AI Music Generator turns a short text description into a complete, copyright-free track in seconds. You can produce instrumental music or full songs with AI-sung vocals, optionally writing your own lyrics or letting Tangra create them for you. Multiple AI music models, a deep library of genres/instruments/moods/vocal-timbre tags and selectable AI singers let you shape the sound, then play, save into playlists, download, share, and even spin tracks into an AI music video.

Text-to-music generation

Describe the music or song you want in plain language and create a complete track. A simple mode takes a short prompt; Advanced mode opens a larger prompt box for detailed direction.

Songs with your own lyrics

On Song models you can write your own lyrics in a structured editor (Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Outro sections) or paste full lyrics in advanced lyric mode. A one-tap auto-generate button writes lyrics or fills individual sections for you. Lyrics are capped at 3000 characters.

Instrumental vs. vocals

Choose a 'Song' model for vocals or a 'Music' model for instrumental-only tracks, so you can produce either fully-sung songs or background/score music.

Genre, instrument, mood, vocal and timbre tags

Build the exact sound from large tag libraries: ~100 genres (pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, EDM, metal, country, classical, lounge, world and more), dozens of instruments, moods, vocal types, and vocal timbres, each searchable in a picker.

Selectable AI singers

On Song 3.0 you can pick a named AI vocalist (male or female voices like Ethan, Sophia, Olivia, Noah and more) and preview a demo of each voice, or leave it on Auto Vocals.

Built-in player, playlists, library and sharing

Every track plays in a persistent global music player. Save tracks privately, organize them into playlists, browse Most Popular and Quick Results, upload your own audio (and attach lyrics to it), download, and share.

AI music video creator

Turn a generated song into a cinematic AI music video through a guided 5-step wizard: pick video size, choose the music, shape the story, refine the storyline/script, then create visuals.

How to use it — step by step

Open the Music Generator
Go to https://tangra.link/music for the landing page, or open the app to start creating. Sign in / create a free account (passwordless email or Google) when prompted to create and save tracks.
Describe the track
Type what you want in the prompt box (e.g. 'upbeat summer pop song about road trips'). Toggle Advanced mode for a larger prompt area and more detailed control.
Pick an AI model
Open the model selector and choose a Song model for vocals or a Music model for instrumentals (Song 4.1, Song 4.0, Song 3.0, Music 4.0, Music 3.0, Music 2.0), or leave it on Select AI to auto-pick.
Shape the sound with tags
Open the tag pickers to add Genre, Instrument, Mood, Vocal, and Timbre tags (choose at least one from each group on the legacy song flow).
Add or create lyrics (Song models)
Choose 'Add your lyrics' to write structured sections (Intro/Verse/Chorus/Bridge/Outro) or paste full lyrics, or use the sparkle button to auto-generate lyrics from your prompt. On Song 3.0 you can also pick a specific AI singer and preview their voice.
Set your options
Open Settings for additional options. The credit cost updates live based on the model and singer choice.
Create
Click Create. The track is produced and added to your library, then starts playing in the built-in player.
Play, save, download, share, or make a video
Use the global player to listen, add tracks to playlists, download or share the copyright-free audio, or click 'Music Video' to launch the 5-step AI music video wizard.

Pro tips

For full control over the arrangement, switch on Advanced mode and write a detailed prompt instead of a few keywords.

Build the sound from the tag pickers — Genre and Mood move the result the most, so set those first and add Instrument and Timbre to refine it.

On Song 3.0, preview several AI singers before generating so the voice matches the mood you want.

Let the sparkle button draft your lyrics from the prompt, then edit individual Verse/Chorus sections for a personal touch.

Pick a 'Music' model when you only need background or score audio so the track stays instrumental with no vocals.

Watch the live credit price as you change model and singer to keep generations within your budget before clicking Create.

Is the music copyright-free?

Yes. Tracks are generated as original, copyright-free music you can use in videos, social content, podcasts, ads, and events.

Can I create songs with vocals or just instrumentals?

Both. Choose a 'Song' model (Song 4.1, 4.0, or 3.0) for full songs with AI-sung vocals, or a 'Music' model (Music 4.0, 3.0, or 2.0) for instrumental-only tracks.

Can I use my own lyrics?

Yes, on Song models. You can write structured sections (Intro, Verse, Chorus, Bridge, Outro), paste full lyrics in advanced mode, or auto-generate lyrics with one tap. Lyrics are limited to 3000 characters.

Can I choose the singer's voice?

On Song 3.0 you can select from named AI vocalists (male and female) and preview a demo of each, or leave it on Auto Vocals. Other models use automatic vocals.

What genres and styles are available?

Around 100 genres including pop, rock, hip-hop/rap, jazz, blues, EDM (house/techno/dubstep), country, metal, classical/orchestral, lounge, k-pop, latin, and world, plus deep instrument, mood, vocal, and timbre tag libraries to fine-tune the sound.

How long is a generated track?

Each music model produces a track of a fixed length, and the credit cost is flat per model rather than scaling with duration. To build something longer, generate several tracks and stitch them together in the video editor timeline.

How much does it cost to generate a track?

Each generation uses credits based on the model. The exact price is shown live before you generate, and plans are available on the pricing page.

Can I turn a song into a music video?

Yes. After creating a song you can open the experimental AI Music Video creator, a guided 5-step wizard that picks a video size, your music, the story, the storyline/script, then generates the visuals.

Can I upload my own audio?

Yes. Use the music upload button to add your own audio file to your library, and optionally attach lyrics to it.

Is there a mobile or desktop app?

Yes. Tangra AI Music is available on the web plus Google Play, the Apple App Store, the Mac App Store, and the Microsoft Store.
